Culture is a constructed reality of collectively accepted ideas and habits. We live in a self designed reality. 
It are the collectively accepted 'double standards'  that trigger my attention.

Onze cultuur bestaat uit collectief omarmde ideëen en gewoonten.
Deze zelf ontworpen werkelijkheid, met geaccepteerde 'double standards', heeft mijn aandacht.
